To organize and control the total engineering project so it will be finished correctly and on time.

• Determine the project responsibilities by identifying the order of jobs, assigning workers to and reviewing bids from contractors.

• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.

• Determine project schedule by studying the project plan, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.

• Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.

• Control project plan by reviewing design specifications, planning schedule changes and recommending actions.

• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Maintain the product and company reputation by complying with federal, state and city regulations.
